Everything you need to know about IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback and our services.
IASIS MCN is completely passive — you get to just sit back and relax while being treated. A brief, imperceptible microcurrent signal does all the work. IASIS MCN is safe, effective, non-invasive, drug-free, and pain-free.
Anyone and everyone. IASIS MCN is safe and non-invasive, so if you can sit in a chair, you can receive a treatment. There is no medical condition, age, medication, allergy, or other factor that would prevent one from safely being treated.
Yes, IASIS MCN is very safe. The system employs an FDA-registered EEG amplifier and is extremely safe. The microcurrent impulse is only 3 pico watts — about one millionth that of a cell phone.
No, IASIS MCN does not interfere with medication. Successive treatments may make a client more sensitive to their medication, meaning not as much is needed. Clients are strongly encouraged to consult with their prescribing physician about any changes.
You'll fill out an observation sheet ranking your current symptoms. We'll prepare the electrode placement sites, apply connectivity paste, and position five electrodes. The actual treatment is passive — you relax while the system works.
The magnitude is only 3 pico watts, or 3 trillionths of a watt. That's about one millionth that of a cell phone or 1/100th of an AA battery. The impulses are exceptionally low energy.
IASIS MCN is not usually covered by insurance. We are currently unable to accept insurance.
Unfortunately, not currently. Sessions are held in a home studio and can only accommodate those who are fully ambulatory.
Yes. Studies include research on Traumatic Brain Injury neuroimaging changes, a White Paper on Integration of Microcurrent Neurofeedback in Clinical Practice, and documented stroke recovery outcomes.
